An Honest Scrap Challenge

Thank You to my dear friend Katy over at Penello Lane for bestowing this award on to my humble blog. I am honoured and I hope I have done it justice :)
So the deal is, as the recipient I’m supposed to list ten true things about myself, and then pass it on to other bloggers. Ok, here goes…

1. I eat chocolate first thing in the morning. I know I shouldn’t, it gives me terrible acid and upsets my IBSbut I still do it sometimes.

2. I’m a complete contradiction. I’m obsessively tidy yet the house is so full of stuff it’s impossible to keep tidy. That is being remedied one room at a time tho.

3. I don’t drink tea or coffee, I have a hot chocolate once a year, at Christmas. I drink gallons of squash, either orange or apple and blackcurrant (my latest favourite) but still worry I’m not drinking enough water.

4. I procrastinate for a living! My mind (and notebook) is full of things to do, yet the amount of things I actually get done is usually minimal. I’m too busy making lists!

5. I can’t grow my hair at all. It’s always been the bane of my life. It’s so fine and thin and rubbish, it just gets really straggly and broken, and I have a weird chunk missing at the back so it gets to a certain length and looks as if someone’s taken a bite out of it.

6. I am absolutely obsessed with socks and sock knitting, my Ravelry Favourites is full of sock patterns, but I find them so daunting. I collect patterns, buy yarn, covet socks but never knit any.

7. Knitting related again, I knit a lot of toys but I can never give the first one away because I feel it has developed its character with me and is kindof like my baby....

8. My perfect day always ends with a bath, clean sheets, window open, something good on tv or a dvd, some knitting or crochet and a whole evening to relax.

9. I used to bite my nails, until my 26th birthday when my mum bought me an Emerald ring. I stopped from that day and luckily my nails recovered and are now lovely (most of the time)

10. The Fall Guy. Even the name gives me goosebumps. I fell in love with Lee Majors at the tender age of 12, and even to this day I am head over heels with Colt Seavers. In High school we decorated our school books with posters and stickers, mine had a huge heart on the back with the lyrics to the ‘unknown stuntman’ written in it. I used to tape the episodes, by holding my tape recorder up to the screen. I’d sit for the whole hour with a C90 tape, hoping to squash it all on, then i’d listen to them in bed and remember what had happened in the show. I still have about 5 episodes in the loft. I received an early birthday present in the post this week, a treat to myself for working 10 days straight, the fall guy series 2 on dvd. All my favourite episodes available for the first time in over 27 years. And yes, I still remember all the words :D

Good list! I can SO relate to number 4, but we're opposites on the chocolate and coffee & tea ;-) The way you like to end your day sounds lovely!

Found you through blog browsing and I am so glad I did. Someone else in love with 'The Fall Guy' I even bought my son who was a toddler at the time a 'Fall Guy' truck but it was really for me... must look out for the box set... see you on the ice.
