Yesterday I was supposed to be going to Chatsworth House with an old friend. It was called off at the last minute. He has a bad knee, hurt it last week in Italy when he was seeing kISS (I wont say anything about it being justice for going to see them without me la la laaa) anyway, he tried to drive but had to give up halfway and go back home, too much pain. Trouble is, i was almost there! 2 hour drive for nothing, but thats the least of my worries. I turned round and drove home again, rang him and he was at the doctors hoping to get it looked at.
But I digress. The change of plans meant that I had an unexpected afternoon to myself. what to do what to do....I had a lovely parcel from a friend a while back and she included some wonderful envelopes that she had made herself out of an old calender. I loved them so much. I wanted to make my own. My friend Sarah had lost part of my last years Christmas present, but then found it and gave it to me anyway on my birthday... a 2009 calender! well, fate stepped in and I sat myself down at the table.
Take one out of date Calender
add some fantastic company
a couple of hours free time and you get the niftiest envelopes ever!
add some matching cards and envelopes and Voila,
to quote a dear friend sadly departed a "Rainbow in the Dark" R.I.P Ronnie.
